COMMUNITY ASSIST – MISSING DOG “Tator Tot”
Yesterday, members of the Devola Volunteer Fire Company’s drone team were able to get valuable real-world search and rescue training using our new thermal drone setup, designed for locating heat signatures during emergencies, lost person searches. And much more.
We assisted in the ongoing search for Tator Tot (real name Annie), a special-needs dog with a displaced lower jaw. She’s unable to fend very well for herself or even defend herself.Our team was able to visually confirm her location on four separate occasions, providing proof of life and helping narrow her current range.
Annie is in flight mode and has actively evaded both her family and responders.
