The Devola Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce the purchase of a ladder truck from the Marietta Fire Department.

This addition represents an important investment in the safety and protection of the residents, businesses, and visitors we serve. The ladder truck will enhance our ability to perform a variety of emergency operations, including elevated fire attack, roof access, ventilation, aerial rescues, and other specialized response functions.

We are grateful to the Marietta Fire Department for the opportunity to acquire this apparatus and for their continued partnership in serving our communities. Purchasing a quality pre-owned truck allows us to expand our capabilities while being responsible stewards of the financial resources entrusted to us by our supporters.

Over the coming weeks, our members will be completing equipment installation, inspections, and training to ensure the truck is fully prepared for service. Once placed into operation, the ladder truck will strengthen our response capabilities and help us better protect lives and property throughout our district and neighboring communities when called upon for mutual aid.

This purchase would not be possible without the continued support of our residents, donors, and community partners. Your support helps make investments like this possible and ensures that Devola Volunteer Fire Company remains prepared to meet the evolving needs of our community.

We look forward to officially placing this truck into service and sharing more information, photos, and updates in the near future.
